About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Circa 01, a peer-to-peer fashion hire platform connecting lenders and renters in Australia. By creating an account, listing a piece or booking a hire, you agree to these terms and to the Circa Rental Agreement & Curation Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and reside in Australia to hire or lend through Circa 01. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Bookings and payment

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). Hires run for either a 4-day or 8-day period, with 2-day handling buffers between hires. Your card is securely vaulted at checkout and only charged for the hire fee and postage; no upfront security deposit is taken. Circa may charge the vaulted card for late returns, dry cleaning or damage in line with the Rental Agreement.

Late returns

Returns are due by 5:00 PM Melbourne time on the return date. A 24-hour grace period applies, after which a late fee of 150% of the daily hire rate accrues, capped at the piece's replacement value.

Circa's role

Circa 01 operates the marketplace, reviews listings for quality and authenticity, and coordinates dispatch, returns and payouts. Circa 01 is not a party to the hire itself; the rental agreement is between the lender and the renter, with Circa facilitating payment and resolution.
